 Silent Movie - The General - at Pound Ridge Library, with Piano Music
Best movie of all time (!) at Pound Ridge Library! Orson Welles said that Keaton's" The General" is the greatest comedy ever made, the greatest Civil War film ever made, and perhaps the greatest film ever made. A 2002 worldwide poll by Sight & Sound ranked Keaton's The General as the 15th best film of all time. And we were charmed and impressed by this movie.
Film historian and piano accompaniast John Mucci orchestrated this showing of Keaton's The General for us at the Hiram Halle Memorial Library on September 24, 2010 to an appreciative audience ranging from 5 to 85. Thanks Marilyn Tinter, too!

We meet Jason from Telefunken who divulges info about the microphones that the top bands use, and we hear how Red Bull keeps people going during long hours of work, and can be reinvented with a little cranberry and vodka.

Maybe you haven't been to a music festival for a while and would like to go! Or perhaps you're a festival goer and want a few new festival survival ideas.
